“From the first inquiry contact through arrival back home my experience with Language & Luxury could not have been better.  The material was specifically and thoroughly to my level and what I wanted to learn for my profession.  This required a great deal of preparation and work on the maestro's part, in terms of understanding what I do and putting together vocabulary and language scenarios specific to my profession.  The accuracy and thought that they put into that was truly impressive!

“If one's goal is to learn the Italian Language and to integrate that knowledge with an understanding of Italian culture, Language and Luxury are a welcomed addition to the educational opportunities of Italian Language Immersion.  Richard Phelps has created a program worthy of a five-star review.  I chose to experience Immersion in Bologna for two weeks during the month of May 2024.

From my first Zoom session in Baltimore, I was introduced to four women who discussed my concerns and created an Immersion Program that confirmed my confidence that they had listened.  Laura, Giovanna, Antonella, and Cecilia created a Program that included multiple encounters with Italians in late afternoon aperitifs and dinner invitations to Italian homes to meet other interested and supportive Italians.  My goal was conversation, and these attentive women exceeded my expectations of that goal.

In addition, there were cultural excursions in the surroundings of Emilia-Romagna.
